The Maxexam system comprises four distinct phases to complete the examination and assessment cycle. For a more detailed explanation of the individual phases just click on the relevant section in the diagram.
1. Create
The examiner creates the exam or assessment. Question creation, question type and format, marking configuration, validation, auto-formatting of images and text—the system takes care of it all.
2. Deliver
The exam is downloaded to the candidate’s machine in a secure and stable environment. The system is balanced to ensure parity of delivery regardless of hardware variations. Crash management, user/student authentication, concurrent and non-concurrent formats, exam submission—all of this is supported by the system.
3. Mark
System support various question types that can be auto-marked. Free-form text questions are manually marked via a secure easy to use program that can be used anywhere. The system supports Dual marking.
4. Review
Results are collated and the information archived. The system gives instant feedback and performs sophisticated analysis.
